Crime Does Not Pay International is grounded in resilience and in the courage to confront the human condition, seeking a form of justice built on reasonable understanding and the ability to unlearn violence as a learned behavior.

Crime prevention requires effective interventions in decision-making, as well as public and private initiatives that go beyond the application of criminal law. Our work is especially directed toward children, adolescents—both within and outside the educational system—universities, individuals in rehabilitation processes, institutions, parents, and educators, so that together we can understand both the origin and consequences of crime.

We aim to raise awareness that violating social norms is a profoundly misguided decision—often accompanied by brief illusions of gain but followed by consequences that are deeply and sometimes unimaginably severe.
